Civil Conversation – Bristol.
While not being my greatest photos it does flag up an interesting point. UK law states the electric scooters fall under the same category as Light Electric Vehicles, and therefore need be taxed and insured like a regular car if used on the roads… and just like a car, they’re not legally aloud to use payments and cycle paths. This Police officer unsuccessfully tried to have a ‘civil conversation’ with the scooter rider. He held his attention for a few seconds and the proceeded to scoot off shouting ‘i’m not under arrest am i? no. then leave me alone’
Borris wants us to go back to work, but not use public transport… he’s going to have to think about the fast emergence of these EVs. (p.s. what’s with the uniform?)
